Beck has released his second single of the year, titled “I Won’t Be Long.”
This track, like his first single of 2013, “Defriended,” is currently not expected to show up on any of Beck’s future albums.
Paris, one of the stops on Beck’s summer tour , was first to get the news. Fans attending his show there received stickers with an image by Swedish artist Mamma Andersson and a QR code that led them to a YouTube clip featuring “I Won’t Be Long.”
This is the beginning of a busy week for Beck, who will be performing 2012’s Song Reader live for the first time on July 4, at the Barbican in London.
To listen to his new track, you can stream it on YouTube or pre-order a limited edition 12″ vinyl online, which includes the original track and an extended mix. Starting July 8, “I Won’t Be Long” will be available for purchase or streaming on all digital providers.
