Berlin Festival Reveals 2013 Lineup Including Blur, Bjork, My Bloody Valentine, and More

The eight year old Berlin Festival taking place at the beginning of September has released its killer lineup for 2013, featuring regional up and coming German acts alongside big names like Ellie Goulding and Justice.

The pop/rock/jazz festival will take place for two days (September 6th and 7th) at West Berlin’s Tempelhof Airport, a former U.S. military airfield best known for being the site of the Berlin Airlift in 1948. Started in 2005, Berlin Fest takes full advantage of the open-air space with one stage for a max capacity audience of 20,000, a second stage in a separate hangar, and the Treptow district’s Arena Berlin as an additional venue. It’s also surprisingly affordable, with tickets starting at €29 (roughly $40).
