Alt-J Announces Fall 2013 Tour Dates

UK-based alternative rock band, Alt-J, has announced their fall tour dates, which include a return to the US, following a July 12th release of their Kansas City documentary, An American Wave.

After being accepted by the cultural meccas of the US, namely the East and West coasts, Alt-J broke into the Midwest by way of a sold out show in Kansas City. To celebrate this breakthrough, the band is releasing An American Wave, which will include full-length footage of the show and interviews with fans, followed by a fall North American tour. Directed by Julian Acosta, who has worked with MIA, The Shins, Passion Pit, Band of Horses, and Foster The People, the documentary shows that Kansas City appreciates culture and the arts as much as any coastal city.

Alt-J’s tour, kicking off in early August, will include supporting act Lord Huron, and features shows in Canada, Mexico, and the US.
