Legendary indie-rockers The Dismemberment Plan announce their first new album in 12 years, Uncanney Valley.
After playing a few reunion shows in 2010 to promote the reissue of 1999’s acclaimed Emergency & I Dismemberment Plan started writing new songs. They didn’t confirm it until last fall and now they are officially announcing their first new album since 2001’s Change. “We never psyched ourselves out and thought, ‘NOW we’re making a Plan record,” explained guitarist Jason Caddell in a press interview “it was more like stay calm and play on.” Uncanney Valley is out October 15th.
