Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Announce Fall 2013 Tour Dates

Breakout hip-hop duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis released to the public yesterday the dates for their Fall U.S. tour. Many of the performances they’ll be headlining arenas, checking off a giant accomplishment for relatively new artists.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ 2012 album, The Heist, debuted at number one on iTunes, number two on the Billboard charts and is currently certified gold. They gained national recognition for the goofy hipster parody “Thrift Shop,” named the Billboard top rap track of 2012 by. The fame and recognition they’ve received within the last year is extremely impressive for a couple of artists fresh on the radar.

The tour kicks off October 22nd in Portland and makes it’s last stop in the duo’s hometown of Seattle. Talib Kweli and Big K.R.I.T. will be joining them on the road this time around. Tickets go on sale June 28th at 10am, only three days away, so mark your calendars. This one’s going to sell out fast.
