Nineties alternative rock band, Medicine, are reunited for the first time in eighteen years, and have released a new single, “It’s Not Enough,” over on Spin. The single will be one of ten songs off their upcoming album, To the Happy Few, out in August.
After breaking up in the mid-90s, Medicine has reformed with the original core trio, lead singer/chanteuse Beth Thompson, guitarist/vocalist Brad Laner, and drummer Jim Goodall. Best known for their appearance in the movie “The Crow,” the band split and each member pursued a different path. One such path led Jim Gooddall to form country band Jon Wayne, which recently had its first LP reissued on Jack White’s Third Man Records. After a busy 18 year period, the band re-established when Captured Tracks secured the rights to reissue their first two original LPs. The emotions brought about by the releases inspired the scattered members to reform and create music together once more. Look out for To the Happy Few to be released August 6th.
