Young the Giant, Neko Case, Mavis Staples and more at A.V. Fest, 9/6, 9/7

Ever since A.V. Fest joined forces with the Hideout Block Party, Chicago has been enjoying one more quality music festival as the summer winds down each year. While it’s hard to top Wilco’s performance at last year’s shindig, the organizers did their best, roping in heavy hitters like Neko Case, the Walkmen and the Hold Steady.  Just like last year, the Lagunitas will be flowing, the sun will (hopefully) be shining and we’ll all be enjoying the last gasps of warm weather in a parking lot directly next to the home of Chicago’s garbage truck fleet. Set times have yet to be announced, but here’s a list of this year’s performers:
