Moby continues his streak of nice guy ways by offering his music free of charge to indie filmmakers.

The electronica musician established the mobygratis website around 4 years ago, in an effort to provide independent filmmakers, film students, nonprofits and more the opportunity to use his music in their projects for free. Anyone interested in accessing his catalog for their work need only visit the website, create an account and apply online – applicants generally receive a response within 24 hours!
If eligible, individuals can choose from Moby’s catalog of over 150 songs, and the process remains free, as long as it is for non-commercial work. In the case it was for something commercial, proceeds would then be donated to the Humane Society.
