There has been a lot of buzz lately about the ‘monster’ group surfacing in Toronto, Canada over the past year. Hydra, the indie-rock band featuring Feist, Snowblink, AroarA, Charles Spearin and Lucky Paul, is finally making their debut tonight at the Berkeley Theatre in Toronto. The first sightings of Hydra were at the Jason Collett’s Basement Revue concert at the Great Hall in December 2012 and the Field Trip festival at Fort York earlier this month.
Tonight’s debut performance, will be followed by a two-night encore show, June 19th and 20th at 11pm. The Feist Facebook fan page includes ticket and event information for their debut shows. The band will be playing a compilation of each others’ music, in what is described as a ‘new and rhythmically curious’ sound. Sure to be an exciting show for fans.
