New Music Alert: Leftover Cuties Announce New LP The Spark & The Fire Set for July 2013 Release

Los Angeles-based noir-pop quartet, Leftover Cuties, are set to release their second full-lenth album, The Spark & The Fire, on July 23rd.

Dubbed as having “added a breath of fresh air to L.A.’s music scene” by Paste Magazine, Leftover Cuties first began receiving international recognition when their tune “Game Called Life” was chosen as the opening theme of Showtime’s hit series, The Big C. The Cuties have since released two albums, two EPs, and a holiday record; performed alongside Shelby Lynne, Alabama Shakes, Honeyhoney, Kinna Grannis, Kitty Daisy & Lewis, Saint Motel and the Be Good Tanyas; and have been recognized as possessing an indisputable knack for writing timeless, modern classics with an eclectic edge. The group’s new album is no exception to this rule – fans will be rewarded with a 12-track eclectic musical journey that is chock-full of Shirli McAllen’s spot-on, sultry vocals.
