Sasquatch! Music Festival Expanding to Include Separate Lineups for Memorial Day and 4th of July Weekends in 2014

Selling out in 90 minutes, Sasquatch! Music Festival shocks fans with news that there will be a second weekend next year. If that wasn’t enough, both weekends are said to have separate lineups.

After receiving great reviews on their Memorial Day Weekend festival, Sasquatch! has decided to take over a second American holiday. Already anticipating next year’s Memorial Day Weekend Festival (May 23-25), they have decided to include a second festival weekend that will be taking place July4-6. They have up’ed their game by changing the lineup for the second weekend.

Adam Zacks created Sasquatch! in 2002 to appeal to anyone who loved music. Being a music lover himself, Zacks personally sets up the lineup every year. His strategy for doing so is mixing in up and coming artists with already successful ones. In doing so, he creates a diverse music environment that appeals to many groups of people.

Sasquatch! not only receives great reviews from fans, but from performers as well. “If I die tomorrow and it was just…you and this music, I’d be happy. If this were heaven, this would be the best place to be when you die”, says Marcus Mumford of Mumford & Sons.

In previous years, Zacks has included artists from many genres. From indie, to hip-hop, and even electronic, he manages to fill every genre-void that fans may have. Musicians like The Cure, Kanye West, Nine Inch Nails, Wilco, Beastie Boys, Tenacious D, and many more have performed at Sasquatch! Now that there will be a second weekend, Zacks will be able to include even more musicians in his broad spectrum of festival performers.
