English band, The Editors, have announced a new LP titled The Weight of Your Love. The album will be the band’s fourth studio album.
It’s been four years since the band has released an album. The album will also be the first to feature the band’s new members Justin Lockey and Elliot Williams. (Chris Urbanowicz left the band in 2012).
The album, recorded in Nashville, will feature a lot of firsts for the band. As the press release relates, horns will make their debut on an Editors album, Williams contributes vocals, and front-man Tom Smith sings in falsetto (for “What Is This Thing Called Love.”)
The United States can expect a release date of July 2nd. The first single will be released June 18th though.
