After an indefinite hiatus and alleged creative differences, stunning balladic folk duo The Civil Wars have returned with a vengeance and will release their extremely highly anticipated sophomore self-titled album in August on Sensibility Music.
The album was recorded under gruelling circumstances and emotional distress, according to band members Joy Williams and John Paul White, whose collaborative efforts and musical harmony have developed a strong, devoted fanbase. The musical talent remains regardless of their personal struggles. The first single, “The One That Got Away,” is available to be streamed or purchased on iTunes, and the album itself can be preordered anytime.
