During a live studio interview last Friday, Thom Yorke introduced a new song comprised of recycled, yet completely unfamiliar sounding material.
The new track is a remix of Yorke’s “All I Need,” which, according to Yorke, has turned into a new song that he doesn’t “know what to do with.” KCRW debuted the track, “Honey Pot,” on a live DJ set with both Yorke and Nigel Godrich, English musician and producer who is sometimes referred to as the “sixth member” of Radiohead, in the studio. The track contains Yorke’s signature ambient, intricately organized chaos. As stated by KCRW’s DJ at the end of the in-studio, “Thank you for this musical-chaos-roller-coaster-ride.” Well said, KCRW. But don’t take our word for it – watch and listen to the studio session for yourself:
