Carnival of Madness Tour Announce 2013 Headliners Including Shinedown, Papa Roach, Skillet, and More

Shinedown returns as the headlining act for the 2013 Carnival of Madness tour, sponsored by Monster Energy. The hard rock group, who led the inaugural concert tour in 2010, will be joined this year by Papa Roach, We As Human, Skillet and In This Moment.

In the first year of the tour, Shinedown played alongside Sevendust, Chevelle, Puddle of Mudd, and 10 Years – it was considered one of the best tours of that summer, and was noted as a Top 50 tour by Pollstar. This powered Carnival of Madness through two more years of rockin’ glory, with bands such as Chevelle, Evanescence and Theory of a Deadman stepping up to headline the shows.

The first news of the 2013 tour lineup came when Shinedown lead singer Brent Smith leaked an announcement last week, via Twitter, of who they’d be playing with. Smith has also been quoted as saying:
