At midnight last night Boards of Canada premiered a video at a busy intersection in Tokyo that probably contains new music from their upcoming album, their first in seven years.
After announcing through a mysterious tweet yesterday that contained only a time and a place, Boards of Canada premiered what seems to be a music video. There has not been any information released about the video but it definitely seems to contain new music by the band, probably from their upcoming full length, Tomorrow’s Harvest (out June 10).
This promo stunt falls right in line with the other ways the band has kept people guessing as they’ve gradually released details concerning this upcoming album. After releasing a series of mysterious 12″‘s on record store day the band have slowly released more pieces of information which have been dissected by internet nerds across the globe.
