Former Pantera and Down frontman Phil Anselmo is hitting the road in support of his new album, Walk Through Exits Only. Says Anselmo of his first solo tour, “This is a killer program of insane variety, so come out and support the gigs!!!!”
The “Technicians of Distortion” tour kicks off July 31st in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Anselmo and his backing band, The Illegals, will play all songs from Walk Through Exits Only, and then some. Warbeast, whose new album Destroy was produced by Anselmo, and one-man doom metal band Author and Punisher will serve as openers for the entire tour. Tickets go on sale May 23rd.
