Google Launches Music-Streaming Radio Google Play Music All Access

Today Google launched their brand new, highly anticipated music-streaming service, called Google Play Music All Access.

The service will be offered to any users at the cost of $9.99 per month. Subscriptions purchased before June 30 will be discounted two dollars, but no free trial version is offered, while the largest competitors such as Spotify do offer a free, long-term alternative supported by ads.

While the service will primarily offer simple streaming capabilities, like Pandora it will offer a radio station component which can lead users from one track to a whole list of other similar songs they may also enjoy. This aspect of the service will be appreciated by serious music lovers looking to broaden their tastes, particularly since the program will continue to formulate new recommendations indefinitely, always offering something new for listeners. New releases and recently added tracks will also be sorted into lists so users can swiftly and easily access them.

Claiming to offer “millions of songs,” the service will very likely be a great success.
