Experimental psychedelic act Black Moth Super Rainbow reports via Twitter that their van was broken into in St. Louis. The robbery occurred just a few shows into their tour.
The experimental and enigmatic band, Black Moth Super Rainbow, has announced through a series of tweets that their van was burglarized in St. Louis. The band was in the middle of their Spring tour, roughly a month after releasing a new song announcing a new album is on the way. It is not clear exactly what was stolen but the band mentioned that their vocoder, which plays a hugely distinctive role in their sound, was among the items stolen. The band tweeted for help, asking about local pawn shops, not sure if they would be able to continue their tour or not. The band’s most recent tweet, as of this post, said that the St. Louis show tonight would be happening.
