QOTSA have released a video for “Kalopsia,” a track from their upcoming album …Like Clockwork. The term “kalopsia,” which the band defines at the intro as, “a condition in which things appear more beautiful than they are,” is pretty much the polar opposite of the short, hallucinatory cartoon.

The band began releasing videos in promotion of their new album about a week ago. They feature limited, incomplete previews of the new songs, and so far fit together to begin a creepy yet cohesive story. The first was “I Appear Missing” and, now, “Kalopsia.”

Both “Kalopsia” and “I Appear Missing” can be watched back to back on the album’s official page. …Like Clockwork, which QOTSA began recording in 2011, will be released on June 4th.
