Once a regular stop on Chicago’s punk rock circuit, shows at Logan Square’s Fireside Bowl have become a rare occurrence over the past few years. You’ll get a couple more chances to see some music while knocking down pins when emo-pioneers-turned-post-rock-purveyors the Appleseed Cast hit the alleys for two consecutive nights. If their recent Illumination Ritual LP is any indication, the group will fill Fireside’s cavernous confines with soaring melodies that may inspire you to bowl a perfect game. Don’t be a turkey and miss out on this one.
