LISTEN: The Dillinger Escape Plan Releases Stream of New Track “Nothing’s Funny”

Mathcore rockers The Dillinger Escape Plan will be releasing One Of Us Is The Killer May 14, and today we got another taste of what’s to come with another track leak from the band.

Just a week ago, DEP performed at Revolver’s Golden Gods awards show in LA, and it showed the band priming for its return to glory. Their newest release, “Nothing’s Funny,” adds to this, as it’s full-tilt slam of a math metal single for these New Jersey gentlemen. It also makes it interesting to hear talk that the female vocals in the song belong to New Zealand-based Kimbra, known for her inclusion in Gotye’s smash “Somebody That I Used To Know”. Not too hard to believe, however, considering she worked with DEP guitarist Ben Weinman last summer, and he joined her onstage for a song during her set at NYC’s Webster Hall. But the rumors she’s involved in this new track from DEP are still yet to be confirmed.
