Superstar hip hop producer AraabMuzik was shot this week during an attempted robbery occurring in his home neighborhood. He survived the fatal wound Wednesday and is now recovering in the hospital until his injuries are healed.
AraabMuzik’s manager posted a photo and statement on Instagram this week to give fans closure on the incident
He was out in his neighborhood last night with friends and unfortunately the victim of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is recovering now and police are investigating the crime. We appreciate all the concern and fan support and Araab is looking forward to a speedy recovery and returning to the stage as soon as he can.
AraabMuzik is in the process of dreaming up his next album after releasing his most recent mixtape, For Professional Use Only, and was planning to start a tour this month that would have spread from May 4 until August 17. There’s no word yet on how the injury will affect the upcoming tour dates.
