Los-Angeles based band featuring members of ISIS and Chino Moreno of Deftones, Palms, have released a new track titled “Patagonia.”
After disbanding in 2010, three members of the band ISIS decided to continue to create music together. Bassist Jeff Caxide, drummer Aaron Harris, and keyboardist/guitarist Clifford Meyer joined Chino Moreno of Deftones and created Palms. Moreno says:
I’ve always been into the atmospheric sounds they had created with that project and felt my sense of melody would meld well with theirs.
Following the release of their self-titled debut that’s scheduled to release on June 25th, Palms has also announced four tour dates. Ranging from July 10th to July 13th, the band will tour up the Californian coast from San Diego to San Francisco. Ticket sales for these shows are as follows: Los Angeles on May 2, Orange County (Santa Ana) and San Diego on May 3 and San Francisco on May 5.
