Pitchfork reports eclectic American musician Beck will be touring this summer with scattered dates. He has announced a series of special stripped down acoustic dates and a couple electric big band shows. Beck will be playing the Days Off Festival in Paris, the Americanarama Festival in Wantagh, New York and the Newport Folk Festival, all of which he will perform acoustic.
UPDATE: These dates when he plays acoustic will feature never heard before material from an upcoming acoustic record in addition to acoustic renditions of classic Beck songs. The new acoustic record came after into fruition after Beck released a new album via sheet music and went through a burst of inspiration. When Beck plays in Boston on August 2nd and Brooklyn August 4th he will perform in a more traditional Beck way with a full plugged-in band behind him. You can view the complete tour dates below.
