Alter-ego of Madlib, Quasimoto, has announced the release date of his new album, Yessir Whatever.
Side project of hip-hop producer Madlib, Quasimoto is characterized by his high-pitched voice, as if he’s been inhaling helium. Madlib often switches back and forth between his own voice and the voice of Quas on previous Quasimoto albums. Previous albums are 2000sThe Unseen and 2005s The Further Adventures of Lord Quas. The Unseen was featured on the top albums of the year list for Spin Magazine.
Yessir Whatever features 12 tracks recorded roughly over a 12 year period. The LP and CD cover will have a peel-off sticker that reveals the cover characters guts.
