It’s hard to think of anyone with more soul than Charles Bradley, a former James Brown impersonator who cut his first original record for Daptone at the age of 62. On his second LP, Victim of Love, the screaming eagle of soul spreads his wings and soars through another collection of timeless tunes with the assistance of the Menahan Street Band. If you make it out to see him, expect to laugh, cry and dance.
