Watch: The Knife Releases Video For Track “A Cherry On Top”

Words to describe The Knife’s third released single off of their latest album Shaking The Habitual. Strange. Eccentric. Far-out.

How about all of the above.

Similar to their album title, The Knife are shaking the habitual once again, this time in the form of their latest cut called A Cherry On Top.

The entire video is represented through two grid like structures that are placed in the middle of a screen covered in pink. And if you happened to be expecting something more, then sir, hold your horses because that is all you’re going to get.

Aside from the swirling effect that occurs monotonously between the two boxes on screen, The Knife keeps the ambience of this video very basic, expressing its musical inspiration in a more pure and primitive form. Eight minutes and forty five seconds of pure excitement. Check it out for yourself by clicking on the video below.
