Super Bock Super Rock Festival Announces 2013 Lineup Including Queens of the Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, Tomahawk, and More

The SBSR Festival lineup grows as several rocker groups are scheduled to travel over seas to Portugal to perform this July.


This three-day festival is one not to be missed. Set on Meco beach near Lisbon, Portugal, who wouldn’t want nonstop music and sun?

This festival could be the hidden gem of music in Europe. It is lesser-known among UK audiences but it is in it’s 19th year of delivering impressive lineups. Past headliners include The Strokes, Arcade Fire, Muse, New Order, Pixies and Metallica (no big deal).

And this year is just as impressive as the previous. Arctic Monkeys, The Killers and Queens of the Stone Age are all scheduled to perform.

In addition to beautiful beaches and notable performances, the festival can also boast economical prices. A three-day festival pass and four-day camping pass is just £77 (not including booking fees). For us Americans, £77 is about $118. One single day pass is £41, or around $63.
