I’m not sure when Phillip Anselmo finds time to get some sleep, but no doubt fans are loving his output recently, which will only increase when he releases his debut solo LP Walk Through Exits Only in July.
Aside from his work with Warbeast and helping to organize festivals, the former Pantera and Down front man is now preparing to drop an album that he’s worked on for couple of years alongside Michael Thompson in New Orleans. With the release of Warbeast’s War of the Gargantuas EP out of the way, Anselmo was able to put the finishing touches on an album he says will be devoid of any hidden messages or wordplay but instead will be very angry and very direct. Could you have expected anything else?
