Daft Punk’s new album Random Access Memories is becoming more and more anticipated every day. Leading up to its May 21st release date Daft Punk are releasing short videos in a series called The Collaborators. The Collaborators features different musicians and producers who they have worked with on Random Access Memories. Episodes 1 of The Collaborators featured disco legend Giorgio Moroder and Episode 2 starred underground producer Todd Edwards.
Episode 3 of The Collaborators features Nile Rodgers and focuses on his long history of working with star strutted musicians like David Bowie, Madonna and Duran Duran. Rodgers also explains he recorded with Daft Punk in New York’s Electric Lady Studios and said of the recording, “I feel like I’m working with contemporaries, with people who grew up with me and feel it the same way we felt the vibe when we were creating this stuff. They went back to go forward.”
