Listen: Mad Season Offers New Tracks “Slip Away” and Black Book of Fear Featuring Mark Lanegan

Two previously unfinished songs by Mad Season have been added to their deluxe reissue of their debut album Above. Mark Lanegan sang on the two tracks – ‘Black Book of Fear’ and ‘Slip Away’. Listen to them below.

Lead singer Layne Staley (of Alice In Chains) and bassist John Baker Saunders both performed on the record, but since both of their passings, the surviving members (Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready and former Screaming Trees and current Walking Papers drummer Barrett Martin) found these incomplete tracks to add to the deluxe edition.

They had previously unveiled another previously unreleased song ‘Locomotive.’

DVD – Live at The Moore + Bonus Footage
• Full video set of the Live at The Moore performance from Seattle, WA performance, April 29, 1995. Remixed and remastered for 5.1 sound, and newly edited by director Duncan Sharp .
• Plus, more bonus footage, including a full concert of the band’s performance from New Years Eve 1995 at RKCNDY in Seattle, and both performances from the Seattle-based Self-Pollution Radio specials, one newly edited.
