Baroness Announce Summer 2013 Tour Dates

Metal group Baroness have announced their first tour dates since their bus accident.

Last August metal group Baroness were in a terrible bus accident that put the whole band in the hospital and forced bassist Matt Maggioni and drummer Allen Blickle to leave the group due to lingering injuries. Still Baroness is triumphing on as they have announced their first tour dates since the accident. Antiquiet reports beginning May 24th they will embark on tour switching between headlining dates and festival spots. Baroness’ John Baizley confirms he has found two musicians in Nick Jost (bass) and Sebastian Thomson (drums) to replace Maggioni and Blickle, reports Blabbermouth. Baizley went on to describe Thomson and Jost as band members who can, “who can approach our music with passion and vitality.”

UPDATE:
Baroness has added seventeen dates to their summer 2013 tour. This will bring their tour into September stopping at most of the major cities that were not initially announced with a notable stop at Seattle’s Bumbershoot music and arts festival.
