There’s only one word that comes to mind when someone brings up Macy Gray and that is: soulful. For all those doubting that the industry has any soulful singers left, you better think again and see for yourself. The modern “queen of soul” (in my opinion) will be returning to NYC with David Murray and the Infinity Quartet on June 16th. If you want to see hear one of the best voices of our generation, I definitely recommend not missing this show.
