With the announcement of this year’s Heavy MTL Festival lineup, it appears Montreal is set to be rocked to its core this August.
The arrival of the Summer Slaughter Tour into Montreal on August 9 will mark the beginning of the festival weekend, and with it such acts as Dillinger Escape Plan. The official Heavy MTL fest gets underway that Saturday, as it combines the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival with other hard rock and heavy metal acts, producing an onslaught of banging music.
Some legendary greats will be making the stage, with Megadeth, Danzig and Rob Zombie joining the lineup this year. More information on tickets and accommodations can be found on the festival’s Facebook page, and below is a look of the complete lineup thus far:
