El Ten Eleven Launch Emergency Fund After Gear Stolen

El Ten Eleven is doing its best to not let the theft of their equipment to halt their tour. They posted a plea to fans on Facebook asking for help.

In a desperate attempt to quickly replace their stolen instruments, El Ten Eleven released one song from their coming album to help raise money. The track is available on Bandcamp for as little, or as much, as individuals are capable to give. Along with other sources of funds, the group is hoping they can replace their goods soon.

We are really, really screwed. Our tour is supposed to start in three days.

The groups manager left the gear in a car while he prepared the studio for rehearsal. After about 30 minutes he returned to the car to find almost everything missing. The Facebook post lists the items as, “Kristian’s double neck, fretless Wal bass, both pedal boards, and basically Tim’s entire drum kit (rototoms, cymbals, snare, kick pedal, all of his electronic drum equipment, and bass head).”

The only information El Ten Eleven learned about the theft is what one witness described. The witness said it was two Latino males, in their 20s and of average build. Police were called to the scene and fingerprinted the car.

The band said they are keeping a watchful eye on Craigslist, eBay and pawn shops for the equipment.
