Downtown Records will be throwing their third annual Downtown Music Festival on May 10-11, and will then, for the first time, expand the fest to six other locations throughout the summer and fall.
The first of the festivals takes place at venues all over NYC’s Lower East Side, with such artists as Purity Ring, DIIV, Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt and Black Hippy performing at Mercury Lounge, Tammany Hall, Bowery Ballroom and more. A full listing of the initial lineup is featured below, but watch as even more acts will be announced in the near future.
Over the next few months, Downtown will then host festivals in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Denver, Toronto, Philadelphia and Boston, with each location offering a city-specific lineup that mixes big name acts with local artists.
