Watch a fan made concert film from a 2009 Nine Inch Nails show which at the time was supposed to be their last.
In 2009 Trent Reznor announced the demise of Nine Inch Nails and played a series of shows that were supposed to be their performances shows ever. We known now that Trent Reznor has reformed the group but at the time this was big deal. A group of fans who call themselves “a tiny little dot” filmed the final date of the “Wave Goodbye Tour” on September 10th, 2009 at Los Angles’ Wiltern and spent the last three years editing the footage into a concert film. The movie is called after all is said and done and is three and a half hours long featuring thirty-seven songs. Consequence of Sound reports the movie was edited down from seventy-five hours of footage from twenty-seven unique HD cameras. The guys involved spent 3,500 hours editing the footage and adding professional audio mastering. A tiny little dot described the movie as:
The culmination of this work is a video production of a NIN concert unlike anything ever before – an evocative and unapologetic document of Nine Inch Nails. As an intimate concert performed before only a handful of fans, what the performance lacks in huge stage production value, it makes up for in vitriol, raw energy and cramped quarters… with sentiment, emotion and intimacy. But what really shines a light on the brilliance of the performance is the manner in which it was captured.
