Months after the Semi-Sweet single leak Above Your Means tickled and teased the ears of listeners, Tijuana Panthers are announcing the release date for their new album to debut this May.
The manned trio will be giving fans a different look into the creative energy of the group with this album stemming from their work with new music engineer Matt Vasquez. The sound is apparent through tracks like Tony’s Song and Father Figure, taking fans on a ride that sort of twists and turns throughout a spew of harmony, melody, and trust.
The Tijuana Panthers are holding strong to the unappreciated sounds of the surf rock genre and guitarist Chad Wachtel believes this will be another classic to add to the repertoire.
So while it’s not technically a best of, Semi-Sweet is still Tijuana Panthers doing what they do best. And those fans of ours that like to play our music at their hot Hawaiian luau parties will not be disappointed.
