The English post-punk group Echo and the Bunnymen have announced the title of their soon to be twelfth studio album, The Garden of Meedin’.
Echo and the Bunnymen, going on nearly thirty five years since their inception, have said that they will revisit the group’s “humble beginnings” with their newest album The Garden of Meedin’ to be released later this year. Other than the name, no additional details about the upcoming album drop have been released by the band. Lead singer Ian McCulloch did have this to say about the undisclosed album:
It sounds fantastic. It’s just a different kind of ambition. The idea is to make the greatest album we’ve ever made.
This album will come four years after the group’s last release The Fountain, and will be the fifth album released by the duo of McCulloch and Will Sergeant under the name Echo and the Bunnymen.
