Leah Hennessey, Ryan Adams and Johnny T. Yerington of Pornography Announces Debut Album 7 Minutes In Heaven Set for April 2013 Release

Ryan Adams has found himself a new gig alongside Leah Hennessey and Johnny T. Yerington and they go by the name of Pornography. They have announced their debut album 7 Minutes In Heaven to hit the shelves on none other than this year’s Record Store Day, April 20. Read on for more details.

The group came together by chance and it was merely a matter of being in the right place at the right time. Ryan Adams and Johnny T. Yerington randomly bumped into Leah Hennessey. She then auditioned for the boys’ band The Finger, but after things went so well for a good 120 minutes, the next move wasn’t to add her to the current band. A new band was created entirely, named Pornography by lady Hennessey herself.

Hennessey says:

“I met Ryan and Johnny in a manic trance of a weekend. I told Ryan I wanted to make sad bastard music and the next day he asked me to come sing in his and Johnny’s punk band, which is when we wrote and recorded the entirety of 7 minutes in Heaven. We never give ourselves more than a few minutes to write the songs so we can’t really afford to censor ourselves or be less stupid.”

The first amazing result of this grand trio is “7 Minutes In Heaven,” the first single off their debut LP. Listen to the track below and continue strolling for a full track list.
