The Flaming Lips premiered their new album The Terror in a spectacular live fashion in Austin at a SXSW show featuring Jim James and the Divine Fits. Stereogum has shared quality audio stream of the performance plus video footage of the band playing their 2002 album Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots in its entirety, both of which you can find below. In other news The Flaming Lips have postponed the release of The Terror. Under the Radar reports that fortunately it is only brief couple of weeks. Instead of The Terror being released on April 2nd it will be released April 16th. In an added bonus the pre-order limited edition silver vinyl edition will feature a Dan Deacon remix of the entire album entitled We Don’t Control The Controls (Mashed-The-F-Up-Remix). The Terror will be The Flaming Lips’ 15th studio album.
