Mike McCready, Duff Mckagan, and Barrett Martin enter in a new side project to tackle unfinished business.
McCready from Mad Season, Mckagan from Guns N’ Roses, and Martin from Screaming Trees/Mad Season shell out unfinished Mad Season demos from their what would have been second album Disinformation. Billboard Magazine released the news on Friday, and even though details are vague about the new project, audiences are thrilled for the mash up. McCready even stated that the project may feature a ” cast of singers,” including Jaz Coleman of Killing Joke.
Duff and Barrett and I got together. We wrote some new stuff and we took some of those old Mad Season demos from that [unreleased] second ‘Disinformation’ record, so we are trying to find something to do with those,” McCready says. “We’re talking to Jaz from Killing Joke and I’ve been trying to find some singers to work on some of that stuff.”
