British artist SOHN performed an intimate set at the Windish Agency’s day party, taking over the tiny space inside the Mohawk. The dark venue was perfect for his sensual, moody electro-soul, and his breathy voice wooed the audience as it rose above swirling beats. A fan from the crowd called out “Voice of an angel!” and the expression could not have felt more true as SOHN’s falsetto rang out across the room. He’s like a sparse, sensitive James Blake—intricate, stirring, and wholly engrossing.
