The superb new band from Spoon’s Britt Daniel and Wolf Parade’s Dan Boeckner closed out the evening at VICELAND. This band is one of the rare supergroups that truly lives up to the hype. The alternating vocals between Daniel and Boeckner one each successive track make them a constant and welcome surprise. Each vocalist brings a unique and captivating compelling spirit, echoing the spirit of some rock music’s true greats. Hard to believe this is still only their first real year of active touring, the band comes off as seasoned veterans with true chemistry.
