Singer Morrissey has been forced to reschedule shows due to his recovery from pneumonia.
A statement from Morrissey’s rep:
Morrissey is presently being treated in San Francisco for ‘double pneumonia’, but remains on course to headline the Vive Latino festival in Mexico City on March 14.
This is not the first time the singer has had to postpone shows in the past few months. In October, he announced he was postponing his fall tour in order to care for his ailing mother. Fans had been waiting in anticipation for the rescheduled dates, which had been announced in November.
The singer has also caused a ripple in the music scene due to his recent measures to stand up for animal rights. In February, he cancelled his performance on Jimmy Kimmel due to conflicting interests with another guest on the show.
