School of Seven Bells Start Fundraising Project to Support Benjamin Curtis’ Fight Against Cancer

Shortly after it was revealed that School of Seven Bells’ Benjamin Curtis was battling cancer, friends of the indie rock band established a website to help collect donations to cover medical expenses.

Claudia Deheza, the duo’s other half, has kept fans updated on Facebook and Twitter as far as details and developments of Curtis’ illness. Doctors described Benjamin’s T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma as aggressive, but it is a treatable form. Deheza related that Benjamin has been responding well to his medication and, to date, the group has yet to cancel their spring tour dates which are set to begin soon.  They attribute a lot of their strength and resolve to all the positive messages and posts they’ve received from well wishers.

Those who would like to contribute donations can visit the website here.
