Zooey Deschanel proves she’s more than just a pretty face on the big screen with the debut of her new single “Never Wanted Your Love,” featured on her upcoming album Volume 3.

She joins her partner M. Ward to form the indie duo they call “She and Him.” Volume 3 is the groups third album to be released following their prior cuts Volume 1 & 2. “Never Wanted Your Love” premiers as the lead single for the album and is one of the eleven songs written by Deschanel.
The album debuts May 7 and “She and Him” will follow in support headlining a tour set for the Spring and Summer seasons. Listen to “Never Wanted Your Love” below.
