Ash Return to SXSW 2013 After Seven-Year Absence

Ash is set to make a thrilling return to SXSW after a seven year hiatus. The band, consisting of Tim Wheeler, Mark Hamilton, and Rick McMurray released their famous A-Z Series in the US, nearly marking the verge of their 20th anniversary together as a group. The idea for the A-Z series surfaced from the bands desire to escape the monotony of an album-tour-album cycle. Instead, Ash set out on a mission to deliver a new song every two weeks for an entire year. Starting with Return of White Rabbit, Ash recorded 26 singles combined to form the A-Z Series, and released it in the US this past November.

With their series in circulation, Ash will headline a number of shows this upcoming Spring as they make their return to SXSW. If you want to catch a show, check out some of the dates below.
