An interesting collaboration is taking place in the musical universe as Spin announced today. Aimee Mann and Ted Leo are forming a new indie band, #BOTH.
Aimee Mann is probably best known as of late from her Portlandia episodes, but she was actually nominated for an Oscar in 1997. Ted Leo, of Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, is a punk rocker. The collaboration is definitely intriguing.
Curious fans can check out the new indie band at Los Angeles’ Largo on March 8 and 9 or at San Francisco’s Bottom of the Hill on March 26 and 27.
All that is really known about the collaboration for now is that Mann will be playing bass for the band.
